Review of Kingdom: Classic Kingdom: Classic's biggest Problem can be quickly described. The AI. As a Player, you have to rely on them. Idiotically, the Opponents AI is actually not better, but only has it easier. The Opponents, let's just call Them Demons now have To do damage to the Player until the Crown falls off the Head and then they have caught. Then the Game is over. My AI cronies, on the other hand, have to aim with Bow. And they can't do that. Individual Archers do nothing! That's why: Build up Army. I had over 40 Soldiers, but against 5 Giant Demons: No Chance. Why? Because these are spread over two Sides of the Base and not, once an Attack is noticed, don't run to the other Side. If one Front falls, the other falls. Partly because the Catapults cannot be rotated. I suspect the Point behind it is not to expand, Uniting Oodles of Troops and simply fending off Adversaries. But I have heard that you should also destroy the Portals on the side of the World. How is this supposed to work without Expansion? The learning Curve of the Game is also set too high. The Player is taught only the simplest and most simplistic Actions. These Actions could also have been used with Keyped Of keys. All right. Anyway, I can only encourage everyone to look at a Guide beforehand. Spoilers are hardly available in the Game. Some Things are actually very hard to figure out without a Guide ... Let's Just Get to the Pro-contra list for the fast ups among us: Pro: + wonderful Pixel art + beautiful Soundtrack + interesting Gameplay principle Actually, I really liked this game principle, only this Dependence of AI is very annoying. + Weather Circulation + In the Menu, when you switch back and forth between the Buttons, music comes up. It'S a lot of Fun. Contra:-lousy AI-More Decision-making opportunities on the part of the Player would have been beneficial. I had a Tower that was far away from the "Throne Room," if you will, and this one was occupied again and again by a Shooter. There was nothing I could do about it. You can't tear down buildings either. -too few Construction Options-too steep a learning Curve, so I even had to Consult the Internet. No Problem in itself, just that's a big testament to the poor Communication between the Game and the Player. I can really only encourage everyone to read a Guide beforehand! -Forests are very dark ... This is a Joke Prontra: +-German Translation doesn't seem to be finished. If you want to finish the Game, you will be asked in English if you are sure. Kindom: Classic has often caused more Head Shakes than Joy, yet I recommend the Game. But only under a few Conditions: For risks (and Side effects), call a Guide! Keen To think about how to proceed next: Am I Building this or that? Do I Reuse my Recruiting source To build a Field? In which Direction am I expanding? A Mistake was enough and I was Game Over! So Beware! Everyone needs to know for themselves whether you want to rely on the AI as a Player. Personally, I feel rather uncomfortable about that. At First it was funny when my Army had finished the Demons and I lived in Abundance, but after a Red Moon appears (after the 50th Day) I am still defending and riding away 2 Days later. It Is simply because, from a certain Number of Days, the Opponents become more and stronger. 6 Giant Demons Just can't stop ... Maybe with over 100 Shooters, but try to find so many within 50 Days. Maybe that's even possible if you have a constant Income and you're already standing the Walls, but that's just really hard. Is just a pity. As a Player, I just can't defend myself. That's what the AI does for me and you can see what comes of it. I really hope the Kingdom: New Lands is weeding out these Weaknesses. So far I haven't played it. Finally, you should respect the Order of the Release date. Edit: Unfortunately, I can't recommend Kingdom: New Lands. Since Kingdom: Classic is not sold as a Single Title, you unfortunately have to buy New Lands in order to get both Games.
