King's Quest reviews

So I now have Chapter 1 after about 7 hours and want to tell you what I liked about the Game and what I didn't Like about the game:-Wonderful and idiosyncratic Look-Game world with beautiful Details and a distinctive Atmosphere- The Soundtrack goes well in the Ear and fits perfectly with the Game world-Being funny, which usually succeeds, and there are Allusions every now And then-Synchronized Voices are very good-You will get into an Ar t Ban pulled, you don't want to stop playing the Game even though the Game is quite boring in many Places. More on that now ... Contra:-Textures sometimes very mushy (but are seemingly all self-made/self-painted)-Little Agency-Story below average, hope that changes from Chapter 2 -boring and sometimes far too simple Puzzles-The Game tries to pull itself up in the long run through unnecessarily large Paths and unnecessarily long Dialogues that cannot be skipped Conclusion: D Cutting-average Adventure, worth playing for the beautiful and idiosyncratic Look alone, for 1 Euro definite a Buy recommendation.

I had played King's Quest 7 many, many Years ago and I was thrilled. Unfortunately, the Game is no longer running on my new PC, but I was all the more pleased that this old Series was now being worked on again and two Chapters are available. So I had to get it into my games library. ACTION: It is probably the case that only the Buyers of the "Complete Collection" will benefit from the Epilogue. For Buyers of Individual Chapters und/or the Season Pass, the Epilogue will apparently not be Available-so think carefully before buying whether the Epilogue is important to you. Chapter 1: The Characters in King's Quest are really beautifully drawn, the Humour is exactly on my Wavelength. I enjoyed exploring the area in Chapter 1 and passing the Trials of the Tournament with Graham. There are Puzzles to solve, struggles to pass and in between you can sit back and just listen to a Dialogue. A recommended Adventure Game that you can enjoy without having to constantly blow over your Keyboard or game controller to bring Enemies down. Chapter 2: I have written my own Review for This, so here only briefly: Chapter 2 is shorter than Chapter 1 and in my Opinion not so varied from the Story. However, this Chapter also has its Charm-I like the Parallels with well-known Fairy Tales and the Humour doesn't come up short either. Little Tip: Do a Copy of your game Stand occasionally, then you can start the respective Chapter on Need from there again if you are not satisfied with the Course of the Game. So you don't always have to start completely from the front and Listen to all The Dialogues again. In any Case, you should save the Game balance before you go to the Bridge roll meeting With Graham In Chapter 1-some (including me) had the Problem there that this Scene could not be properly depicted and not completed correctly, because the Gate was only from the outside Visible. If the game Balance Is stored, the Chapter would not be playable. It is not possible to carry out an Intermediate storage yourself, but you can still store different Scores of games. If you don't know how to save different Scores-go to the Main Menu, click "Change Game Stand." There you have four different Places for Scores available. The current Game score always has the Crown-if you go over it with the Mouse, you will see the Option "copy" and "delete," as well as renaming the Name of the Game.
