Knee Deep reviews

Interactive History. Very mysterious. Good Direction. Times something else. 3 Characters who have one Suicide? Investigate and write Messages. English only. (Except for various German Texts. D 'oh) Incomplete Controller Support. History didn't grab me, as it wasn't clear what it was supposed to amount to. The talking options are not particularly clear. Just what people want to get involved with the Story and not for People who want to influence the Story.

Edit: On the Subject of episode game: This is an episode game. Meanwhile, all The episodes have been released and you can play through the whole Game at a Time. What can you expect here? An Adventure that has primarily been devoted To Dialogues and Decisions. There is no Point-and-Click (check Screen for small Objects), no Inventory (* use everything with everything *) and you can't even walk yourself. This may sound strange at first, but for People who like Telltale Adentures, this Is definitely an Insider's tip! Here one actually writes large Parts of the Story itself (a Detail that many telltale fans have always wanted to be more implemented). This even goes so far that you can change the Backstory and Past of the player characters through your Answers in Diagloges. One is asked, for example, what happened at school at That time and the Answer determines what actually happened. This Agency makes you feel very attached to the Characters and is also motivated to act "properly." The Story: Without spoiling, you can only say that the Story is really interesting and all the Characters are connected in more or less mysterious Ways. The Small Town with its partly cranky Inhabitants partly creates a Twin Peaks Atmosphere. The Technique: So far (Episode 1 and 2) I haven't had a single Crash and I couldn't notice Any Bugs. The Graphics look nice and have a very interesting Style (the Game is represented on a Kind Of theatre stage-sounds strange now, really ingame but only the first few Minutes unusual). The Voiceover is as stated in the steel Details only English-but the Phrases are simple, there are Subtitles and you have Time to read through them (you have to press on * Continue * after each Sentence). Who Is this Game for: People like the Adventures who have a good Story, Dialogues, choice & Sequence and Atmosphere. People who like interactive movie Games (here it is more of an interactive Play after the Setup). Who doesn't get happy with this Game: People who don't like Adventures. People who like Point-and-Click Adventures with difficult Puzzles. (There are actually Puzzles in the Game, but they are Puzzles in the truest sense of the Word-you build a Fingerprint out of Fragments, for example.) Conclusion: I liked the Game Extraordinarily and I wish there were more Games of this Style.
