Labyrinthine Dreams
About
Labyrinthine Dreams is a short puzzle game about Beth, a young woman who is standing at Death’s Door. After a traumatic childhood and a tough entry into the world of adulthood, she was just starting to take control of her life. However, she is now up against an insidious enemy who threatens to take everything away from her. During what may be her final hours, Beth wanders through important moments in her life while also staying a few steps ahead of the monster who won’t rest until she is no more.
Mazes in dreams are said to symbolize the dreamer’s feeling of “being trapped.” As Beth tries to find meaning and strength in her life, players must guide her through a variety of mazes, each with its own twist. The most challenging sections are reserved for confrontations with the monster, who must be outmaneuvered and outwitted to proceed.

"Labyrinthine Dreams" a small Indies game Funded by Kickstarter.
' It's just another RPG maker similar Game. Of those there are already thousands on Steam! "-little Timmy, 2016 Timmy is probably right, but this Game is worth every Penny!
I bought the game the Same because I thought the Preview Image of Steam was beautiful. I tackled the Game without Expectation and just found it enchanting. The Music fits the pity of the Puzzles and underpinned the Narrators. The Game has a voice playback! The complete Game is set to music, which surprised me in a positive way. The Voices are very pleasant and fit the Characters and their current Situation. But what Story is actually being told? Unfortunately, the Game is only 2 Hours long and most Of the Time goes away with solving the Puzzles. Only so much: The young Dame Beth, the Protagonist, has not coped so well with the sudden death of her Father, gets depressed on it and wonders why this happened to her, of all things, and why she can't just die.
The game revolves around these Questions. She talks about her Events of fate And finally finds answers to her Questions.

So the only ones who should buy this Game are those who like a bit of light Puzzle food For 1-2 Hours.
I rate the Game here based on the Manufacturer's Advertising and the Experience I gained playing through.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------* A unique and powerful story with vivid characters and potent real-world themes The only thing I can let go of it is this " So real-world theme "is the realistic Scenario. The Story is by no Means unique, as it has already been seen in a number of other Games. Emotional is also too high for my relationships. For this, simply the Narrative style and the Length of the Game is not sufficient to meet this Criterion, in my Opinion.
* A variety of mazes which challenge players while complementing the narrative challenger Mazes is a little over the top. It may be challenging for someone who is still in Elementary school, but beyond that I don't think it's really hard, let alone challenging when you play through the few Mazes and Story in a good 60 Minutes.
* Gorgeous artwork that brings the surreal world of Beth's unconscious to life.
With the Artwork, you can argue again whether you like it or not. For my Part, I think it serves its Purpose, but nothing more, as it is not outstanding now either.
* Voice acting that drives home the story's emotion Here's the only thing I have to acknowledge to the Game as a big Plus. Not only is a Voiceover included, but you also notice that the Speakers have Made an effort to give the Characters a Personality And not just talk their Text down as you know it from some Full Prizes.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------FAZIT: Don't be fooled by the Promises of the Manufacturers. It's a very simple Game that you once played CAN and then actually let it get bodied up in the Library again.
For €2 you can buy the Game if you absolutely want to puzzle a bit with a light 08/15 Story and a nice Voiceover.
Everyone else should rather save the £230 or spend on an Ice cream.
