Fun facts

The game was inspired by Jonathan Coulton's song "Space Doggity", as well as the extremely good friend of all humans, Laika, who died in her duty to bring humanity to the stars.

The project was started one evening on 16 August 2018. I don't remember why I stopped working on it. I polished it for the Fragment Jam by adding the ability to exit, restart, and adding music and sound effects. It's effectively a complete game, although I wanted to add a lot more.

The game took just under 6 hours total to make and polish.

Saving the Earth is hungry work. I wonder if there are any tasty treats floating around in space...
