Lamplight City Story & Gameplay The Kick-off in Short: You and your Partner are ordered to a Flower Shop by an anonymous Call to the Police. Your Partner goes on it when it comes to use. From that Moment on, his Voice haunts around in your Head. You are now not only trying to find his Killer, but also solving other Curious cases and trying not to stand out too much. Lamplight City takes away the rather annoying search for the right Object in many Other games of this Kind. If you have already collected, you always have the right Thing at Hand. You have a Notebook that lists the rules, clues, And suspicious People found. You can save at any time outside of Conversations (to be found at the top Of the Screen, as Well as Menu and Notebook) and an Autosave Also takes hold. Well-known Passages of Text can be clicked away quickly. In a few Places, unfortunately, the English Text is displayed instead of the German one. Graphics and Sound The Game is in a pixel graphic style and takes place in a dark steampunk world. The Portraits in the Conversations are more detailed and also show Emotions here and there. Unfortunately, the Sound Edition is only available in English, but with good Voice actors and German Subtitles. When it comes to the Puzzle with the Parrot, the English Voiceover is even quite important! Verdict An old-fashioned Looking Point & Click Adventure that has quite Charm. If you like to play a detective, You can take a look at Lamplight City. However, I strongly recommend storing at the Beginning of each Case and not overriding this Game balance.
