Legends of Cobalt Lake & District

Legends of Cobalt Lake & District is a short point-and-click horror game where players uncover the mystery surrounding the disappearance of disgraced academic and recluse Amber Gillies.

The game itself is pretty simple, but if you run into any problems, don't hesitate to ask questions in the comments!

Legends of Cobalt Lake & District was developed by myself, (Christopher Risewick [Tower & Moon]) from October 16 to November 7 as a part of the 2020 Haunted PS1 Halloween Jam.

How to Play

• Hover over objects in a scene and click on them to interact with them.
• Press the space bar to advance dialogue.

Installation Instructions

Run the EXE to install the game.

Content Warnings

• Gore
• Homophobic slurs
• Implied sexual violence

Apart from Gore, most of these content warnings come directly from narrative text. I don't have a great internal metric for what should constitute a content warning, so if you find anything which might be worth mentioning from your own play experience, please notify me and I will gladly add it to this list (which is by no means exhaustive).
