Legionwood is one of those countless RPG designed with RPG maker.
Dating a bit, (it came out in 2008), it is however very enjoyable to play.
It has many positive points: the script is not very original, but well staged, and contains some twists.
The characters are endeant, the possibilities of customization are enormous, the spells they have are also numerous.
The music is one of the strongest points of this game, some are excellent.
For the negative points: there is a small problem, it is that when you want to flee a fight, there is not always the possibility, the leak is managed randomly.
Another little worry, the difficulty, some passages will make you Gallant, but nothing insurmountable.
It's better to have a good level in English.
It took me a hundred hours to go around it (secondary quests,...).
In conclusion, a game that I highly recommend to all lovers of old-school RPG, especially since it is free and requires very few resources, (small config).

Well that is not that bad for now, its fun enough and there is a lot of content for a game of this type. The problem is that it's really ♥♥♥♥ing hard ! For what I saw, I recommend people to try it on. The music is good, tutorials are present even if the start is really hard ! The writtings is for now rather simplistic, but that's a nostalgic RPG which for now doesn't pretend in an incredible scenario so far. Gonna continue my playing and see if I can build a review more "consistent."
EDIT : Okay, so I'm at the chapter two of the game right now. What can I say ? It's a real pleasure to play this game. As any RPG maker game, there is some problems, but you can see the real amount of work put behind this free game. It feel oldschool, and it feel complete. I like a lot the system of AP and tech. Since I am not a professional to this kind of game, this was a bit tricky for me, but the game take you by the hand sometimes, just in case you found it too hard. You gotta equip well and take care of your agility and accuracy. I am agreably surprised by the game so far. The scenario is bit more complex than what I anticipated and the writting is good. The tutorials are simple and clear. If you wanna kill time at work, this game is made for . The presence of hand drawings is a cool thing. The game seems pretty long for an Rpg-maker one.
Negative points : Some monsters a really strong for your characters at the beginning, and the fact the equipement take you (sometimes) a lot of agility could be considered as a "con" maybe ?
Anyway. For now that's really good. I'm just a bit scared by the difficulty I will encounter later on the game. Good work !
