Level Editor Mayhem (working title)

This is a very early prototype of a 2D multiplayer platformer game, where players need to pick up randomly appearing diamonds and can also pickup boxes containing hazards or platforms  which can be placed almost anywhere on the level in real time.

Main inspirations: Ultimate Chicken Horse and Super Crate Box.

Current features:

• 2 players
  • Red player controls: WASD + E to place objects
  • Green player controls: numpad 8426 + 5 to place objects
• Randomly appearing diamonds that can be picked up
• Boxes that contain placeable objects
  • Spinning saw blade (hazard)
• One level with fixed player spawn points with safe zones
• Quick restart button (shift + R)
• Scores/stats counting diamond pickups, deaths / kills for each player
