Lidenbrock

Lidenbrock is a game where you get into the role of a deep shaft miner. During your shift, a dangerous gas leakage happens and many of your coworkers die on the spot. You are the lucky one - for now - as the gas is lighter than air and you know, that as long as you manage to dig down, you will survive.

The name Lidenbrock comes as a reference to one of the most classical books written by Jules Verne, named "Journey to the Center of the Earth", where a bunch of people lead by a preffesor Otto Lidenbrock lead an expedition into the crater of an icelanding vulcano named "Snæfellsjökull" and discover a brand new world below Earth's crust.

On this game worked:

-Glow - Our programmer, resident maniac and head of this project. Works perfectly to the moment when things go down south, then it is pain in the ass to work with him

-Fjana - Our graphical designer who also came up with the game idea and mechanics, (also wrote this describtion, hello dear world!), did many miscellaneous tasks in the process

-Gar - Our sound engineer, our resident American thanks to which we have to switch between our native language and english constantly because he joins our voice chat on random occasions

Some things you might find interesting:

- There are some easter eggs in the game, hope you find at least some

- We have more cringy & stupid jokes on our profile describtion

- After a score of 15,930,000, your player would technically surpass the center of the planet and at a score of around 31,860,000, you would have surpassed the diameter of the Earth

- The name of the game was just a decision out of "I don't care, just make it happen"

- Glow's highscores are 1320 on easy, 1044 on medium and 835 on hard. Try to beat that!
