Lifespan (Duck Bear)

Originally made for the GMTK Game Jam 2022, created within 48 hours with the theme, "Roll of the Dice".

Survive multiple influxes of enemies while constantly upgrading your arsenal and skill.

The screenshots were taken before the final update to the game, finishing and cleaning up messes that were left over or forgotten until last play test.

PICK UPS

After defeating an enemy, the enemy will drop an experience orb; but, if you are lucky enough you may get a special orb to drop instead. Picking up an experience orb will increase your experience level. Getting your experience level to the max will increase your level, allowing you to pick one upgrade out of 3 randomly chosen upgrades.

UPGRADES

Upgrades are boosts to the players stats to help them continue through the run. All stat boosts will clear upon leaving the run. There are 18 upgrades that are available to be picked, and all upgrades change various stats of the player.
