Living Pipes
About
Hired to fix a building, paid too much to ask why.
In Living Pipes, a first-person narrative mystery game created as a senior project at Ringling College of Art and Design, you are sent to a remote building under mysterious circumstances. What starts as a routine repair job quickly unravels into something far more unsettling.
Explore, repair, and uncover the truth.
Navigate dimly lit corridors and strange, decaying rooms using your scanning and repair tools to restore broken infrastructure—fix electrical systems, seal pipe leaks, and reconnect disrupted networks. But as your tasks progress, the environment becomes increasingly unnatural, and you're forced to question the real reason you're here.
Key Features:
First-Person Exploration: Immersive atmospheric environments powered by Unreal Engine 5.
Narrative Mystery: Piece together the story through found documents, audio logs, and environmental storytelling.
Puzzle Mechanics: Use diagnostic tools to identify faults and solve spatial and logic-based puzzles tied to the building’s systems.
Unsettling Progression: As you dig deeper, the building—and whatever controls it—begins to resist your presence.
Will you finish the job… or find out what really lives behind the walls?
