LoFi Main Line

LoFi Main Line is a pixelated imagining of the East Coast Main Line ca. 1980. This is a toy. There are no points, no puzzles, no objectives, or obstacles. Just sit back, have a beverage of your choice, and watch the trains go by.

This project is inspired by a trip to England in 2018, and several nights spent relaxing in the beer garden at York station. I started this project to build my skill set, and for my own edification.

Features:

• Randomized consists at randomized intervals.
• Pixel art rolling stock including:
  • Class 20, 37, 45, and 47 locomotives
  • Class 101 DMU
  • Mk2 coaches
  • Assorted freight wagons.
• Platform plying pixelated people.
• Train spotting mode (engine numbers displayed in the lower left corner).
• Adjustable train frequency.
