You are playing the head of your family. To create a strong settlement, start new families and raise them. Make sure that the people in your settlement perform the following jobs: make time, gather, farm, chop wood, mine.

All members of a family perform the same job. If you start a new family, your old family becomes uncontrollable. They will continue to perform the last chosen job, as long as it is profitable.

When you start a new settlement, you will have to start from scratch. But you will be able to progress further in return.

The game autosaves every 60 seconds and autoloads on gamestart.
