Lost in the Rift - Reborn
About
You wake up in a tent in a dark forest. Where are you? Why are you here? What are these strange lights that seem to show you the way? You discover notes. Diary entries from the past. Are you searching for someone? Then all of a sudden you stand in front of a dark tunnel entrance. You overcome the strong urge to run away ... and enter ...
Lost in the Rift - Reborn is an exploration-type game that sends you on a journey to face your fears and uncover the gruesome past. An intense trip that certainly isn't for the faint-hearted.
Lost in the Rift had been initially developed as one of the very first VR horror games, following the success of its predecessor Alone in the Rift.
With Lost in the Rift - Reborn the game has received a complete overhaul, many additional features and is now also finally available for the HTC Vive and Vive controllers.
To ensure the best experience, it is highly recommended to play this game using headphones and while standing.

A VR horror game with a good atmosphere and very creepy Sound accompaniment. Graphics and Control have also been well done. Recommended For VR horror fans!

For such a small Title, Lost in the Rift-Reborn makes a Lot of right (played with HTC Vive) We start at a Campfire and, armed only with a Flashlight, make our Way through the Woods.
Little by little, we are directed to a Bunker and learn more about the Background story, a missing Girl we go searching for.
The Story is certainly not entirely new, but the Implementation really succeeded. The Game manages to permanently build a menacing Atmosphere, even at Moments when not much happens. You have the Constant feeling of being under Tension, and when you get used to it, a Jump-scare comes, the Flashlight falls out or we suddenly hear Noises coming from a Ventilation Shaft.
The Graphics are consistent, the Atmosphere creepy and the Control (free Movement) also works flawlessly. Even Dropouts or Crashes I had none, even with a GTX 970 the Game ran excellent.
At the Price you really get a good Title, for me a clear Buy recommendation for horror Fans.

VR horror for little Money A small But fine review of "Lost in the Rift – Reborn."
Story: The Plot goes about a Family whose Daughter has disappeared. One searches in a Forest and in a cordoned off vault, which resembles Catacombs. You can find Notes that bring you closer to the Back Story. While I couldn't always have a Head at the Story, as I was, well, held up by "other Stuff." :D
Graphic: Even if you can't find an "ultra tripple 4K megatexure graphic" here, I didn't notice this once while Playing. Here, unfortunately, I can only speak for myself that I was so gripped and captivated by the Overall Game and therefore had no Time to deal with the Graphics. In my Eyes, games like this Are not made for the graphic Aspect, but just for the Feeling of being in a Horror Movie, hence not a Criticism for me.
Sound: What is rather incidental with the Graphics can be found in the sound in maximum Execution: He has already murdered me emotionally while Playing and that is exactly what he is for. Very nicely played with ambitious sounds and here and there a Doorknob or a Glass splinters in the Background ... All in all, a very tense Situation that arises with the Sounds and the Music. But of course, even a small Moment must not be missing, when there is total Silence. :)
Verdict: You can't go wrong here for £550. If you are easily frightened by creepy Things and are not in the graphic fetish scene, it has a horror-full Game with 1 Hour of playing.
