The game is released on PC, Xbox one, and PS4. It's quite sympathetic action/adventure to cartoon graphics. You play as a shipwrecked (among 8 different models) that will have to assemble a team by combining the different talents within reach to advance in all the Islands (randomly generated) and adapt to all situations (bridge to build, chests to unlock, monsters to confront...). Death is permanent here, and all the improvements unlocked thanks to the small elements of RPG are definitely lost. Even if the beginning is quite simple, we see in the videos of the developer that the fight can quickly become spiny with opponents swinging AoE and other energy balls etc...
We are entitled to a semblance of history at the beginning (the first characters you encounter interact with you), but overall the game is not scripted. I regret the absence of a multiplayer mode while lost sea would have lent itself very well, in the manner of a don't starve. I do not know if the developers have planned to add content, but it is possible that in a few hours you have made the rounds. Replayability does not sound insane. At €15, I do not necessarily advise, but at €7.50 it is quite distracting to occupy you between two titles.

Product received for free I'm very annoyed. On the one hand I want to love the game, graphically it holds the road, on the paper it interested me and it offers very good ideas (the crew members to recruit, the Islands randomly generated, the skills to unlock...) but another, lost sea is quickly too repetitive.
The developers presented it as a game intended to be played again and again but nothing really commits us. In an Isaac for example, each run will be different from the previous one since completely dependent on the found objects. Here you will quickly discover the skills of the important character and boat that you can always take in the same order.
The Islands are very random but quite empty. Once you know the enemies available, nothing will surprise you, you will meet at best a locked door which you will have to find the key in the vicinity (in Spelunky for example there were levels in the dark, filled with snakes, ghosts, etc. to break the monotony).
The objects to be recovered (bomb, temporary increase in speed, armor) are all single use and do not have enough impact to change the gameplay. Hopefully, the developers will continue to work and edit the title once released, they have already added the possibility to save its current game (and fortunately because even knowing very well the game a part lasts almost 2H...).
If lost sea is fun the first two hours, it unfortunately does not happen to renew itself to hold the player in suspense and encourage him to replay it again and again as was planned at the base. I am really disappointed because I am convinced that with some adjustments it could be much better.
