The Graphics are super interesting, but you can really work on the Story. In some cases it took me far too long to get further and even at the End of the Game I didn't understand the Point of the Game at all. Every now and then it was really creepy, but once again I wouldn't play it. It really wasn't a bad Game and I'd buy it:)

Lumber island-that special place or in French (lumberjack Island-the special place) is a small horror game for cheap, with an oppressante ambiance + ambiance music Monster-visibility (in a bright room on the day) no gamma or Sen option sibility game a little short in the end game rather not bad for 2015 my overall rating 4/5 I recommend it for those who love the game survival horror and atmosphere a bit like me

I've played a lot of horror games, and I can say that lumber island has one of the most disgusting critters I've ever seen! That being said, we find ourselves in front of a game all that is more classic. Our hero wakes up on a mysterious island where there is a sawmill, and he will try to get by, while discovering why the only soul that lives (at first glance) is a crazy lumberjack who runs after him. As usual, the story is discovered through written notes and pages of newspapers that will allow you to reconstruct the events. There is a lot to read, and since it is a rather lovecraftian story, you have to cling to not lose the thread, otherwise you may miss some precious details and not understand everything. The end of the game remains enigmatic anyway. I specify that some notes contain indications on what to do (or not do) and therefore it is better to be attentive. Gameplay level, our character can run (joy!), you have to find the right objects to advance, and do not hesitate to return a whole room to find what it does to us because they are sometimes well hidden. The game is not difficult, but sometimes awkward, especially when it breaks all of a sudden its own rules. Example: this time when one has to open a door to escape in an emergency. While we have to click to open them from the beginning, it is enough, in this sequence, to run on it. Except that there is nothing to guess, and that if you don't have the reflex to stick to the door, it stays closed and then you wonder what to do. Overall, lumber island is very dark, and your poor magic lighter (because inexhaustible) will not change much; Sometimes it's a little awkward. Sound level, the game is almost whole marked by a rhythmic pulsation that confers a sense of urgency and latent threat. Effective, but it can take the lead if you put too much time to progress. In short: without being breathtaking, lumber island is an honest game that I can recommend without any problems. More independent game reviews on http://theoletna.com/avis/test-jeux-video.html
