Luxor: 5th Passage reviews

The Luxor series from MumboJumbo offers a fifth title in the space of five years. Although the concept remains pleasant, this new grind brings little to the franchise. The game Puzzle Bobble, better known as bust-a-move, made its appearance in 1994. It suggested that players throw bubbles at a static bubble cluster, choosing their starting angle, to create groups of three identical color bubbles. Puzz loop, released four years later, boosted this type of puzzle game by placing the bubbles on a moving spiral and the player in the center of the screen. This concept largely inspired PopCap Games, which released Zuma in 2003, a similar game but based on an Aztec theme. It was only two years later that the Luxor franchise made its appearance. Since then, no fewer than five titles have succeeded, at the rate of one per year, each bringing are lots of improvements. Like its predecessors, Luxor: 5th passage offers you to throw marbles from a cannon located at the bottom of the screen. The latter moves laterally and makes fire only in a straight line. Your goal is to prevent coils composed of multiple marbles from reaching your pyramid, creating groups of three identical colored marbles. The coils borrow different paths, depending on the stage funds of each level. This edition offers 25 unpublished, as well as a fortnight from the previous titles of the series. If you make combos, you will get bonus items, which will help you in your quest, as long as you catch them when they fall down the screen, just like the treasures emitted in certain situations. This Edition adds four new bonus items, like the black hole, which is afraid to suck the marbles. Alas, it is no longer possible to improve the power of these bonus items, as was the case in previous editions. Although the game offers an adventure mode with 100 levels, the stage funds return regularly, without making any changes. A quick game mode also allows you to test your skills in two minutes. Four levels of difficulty are offered. The higher it is, the faster the balls move and make use of different colors. If you do not know this franchise, you should be interested in this title. If you are a regular, you may be disappointed. Positives: + well-exploited Egyptian theme + bonus items entertaining negative points:-brings few novelties-often reused levels

The cursor always hangs! A penalty! Fix it now! But how do you test these applications? Incompetent!!!!!

Great game. Everything is perfect except that every now and then the cursor crashes and you can no longer move! Solve as soon as possible

The Game is well-known and good, but has annoyed in the Display of Scores a Display error. It all seems a little cheap. What a pity.

Marbleshooter is graphically very good but unfortunately "hooks" the Mouse control or completely suspends and the Game has to be restarted! Please get an Update then like 5 Stars!

I was very disappointed when, after buying this game, I found out that the game is indeed often stuck. It's so really not good to play. Don't Buy it before they fixing this!

It is Not in 16:9 (panoramic) and full screen looks fatal, of course if you want the Luxor better catch you The Luxor HD, also MumboJumbo, which is a thousand times better. I Don't recommend it.

I Am very disappointed that for a game that was beautiful, now they have created a low definition app that crashes, which loses control over the buttons and that has the overlapping lettering! But there should be no product control on the Apple Store?

the cursor to a lot of trouble interacting during the games, the resolution for the big screens is bad, and there is blurted text from everywhere, probably an old version delivered to the taste of the day with over a new translation, I do not advise this application unless a large update is made. It's a shame to have sloppy game performance while the graphics are beautiful.

Because I always like Zuma-like games, I already had a sense of playing this variation. The game itself looks fine. Only The game continues to hang regularly. It is not fully fixed, but the player keeps on crocheting. Not really fine, so with a game where you have to react quickly. This is the first game in which I am experiencing this problem. Turn it on an SSD, so the performance of my MacBook might not really be there. UPDATE 20-12-2011 16:20 Just reinstalled my Mac. But still the game continues to falter. Hopefully there will be an update soon. It's unfortunate that you buy a game that doesn't work properly!
