Welcome to MacSkate. MacSkate is a New Game for 68k Macintosh Computers.

I started working on MacSkate in 2022 as a fun project to learn how to program in C. Everything was developped on a 1990 Macintosh Classic using Think C 5.0.

How to Play

MacSkate is a simple beat-your-own-score game. Gain some speed by pressing the Right arrow, then use the Space bar, Right Arrow, Option, or Shift button to perform a variety of tricks. However, be careful to perfectly time your moves, or else you'll Wipeout!

Skate:Right arrow
Ollie:Skate then Space bar
Manual:Skate then Option-Right arrow
Nose Manual:
Skate then Shift-Right arrow
Flip trick:
Ollie then Option
Grind:Ollie then Shift
Grind + Flip trick:
Grind then Option
System Requirements

Tested on System 6.0.8 and 7.0.1; Mini vMac and Macintosh Classic with 4MB of RAM.
