Magic: The Gathering Arena reviews and comments
Liked:
Good onboarding, takes you very slowly to the PvP experience, making sure frustration stays minimal.
Good accumulation system with rewards instead of FOMO, makes sure you always have a ton of packs to open if you stay away for a while.
Disliked:
The game suffers for having to be faithful to MTG, having to ask you for input at any given opportunity where you might do something based on the rules of the card game.
UI is a bit clunky as well due to trying to imitate an IRL table where people are playing MTG, resulting in cards shown small and in perspective. Wrinkles games like Hearthstone have shown can be ironed by adapting the genre into the digital format.
