After I was able to perform an Expression dance For the Election as treasurer and could still collect Weirdness-Points on other Curious activities, I was thrilled! However, the mini dungeons are a little irritating ... It was too little Dungeon Crawler to really think of it as a necessary Element of the Game (especially since you could NEVER really need all the Spells) but also too many To just ignore them. This could really have been expanded even better and possibly more interesting Dungeons could be designed or maybe more possible Applications for Magic in general ... Unfortunately, the Talk of some Aspects in the World of Magic was unfortunately only mentioned in passing and then no further treatment. However, these Blemishes are made up for by the Wit And charm of the Game's characters and the various Routes and Choices. All in all, a super fun Game that also offers Potential for multiple games and can easily captivate you for several Hours!

"Horses forever!" - Virginia Magical Diary is a Harry Potter styled Visual Novel/Dating Sim where you get to play as an individual customizable girl on her first year in a magical academy in America. (I would not even wonder if this was planned as an actual Harry Potter fanfiction, just without Harry Potter or Hogwarts.) ___________________________________________________ ++Story++ You live a peaceful life with your parents. One day, you recieve a letter where it says that you have magical powers and are invited to visit a magical academy for young wizards. You go there, meet new friends, study magic, and find secrets. The story has many many decisions and it changes drastically with every decision. For example if you choose to play along with the blue guy (I forgot his name), you will meet him almost all the time and plays a critical role in the story. If you do not choose to, he will never show up again in the story and something completely different happens. ++Gameplay++ The gameplay is has almost RPG elements. You level your magical skill with the lessons that you choose every monday ingame. These magical skill are important when you have to take a test. At these tests, you will be thrown into the dungeon of the school and have to solve a riddle to get out of there. You can not die, but if you fail the test, you will get negative schoolpoints which can lead to you being suspended from the school and end your playthrough early. You also have a lot of romance options, both straight and lesbian. ++Grafics++ The screens are drawn very well, but sadly, the characters are all easily drawn on one pattern. You will see several hairstyles and faces more than once, just the colors are different. Nothing is really unique but the teachers. Do not expect to be amazed by variety. ++Music++ The music is well chosen and played. Sadly, it gets repetive really fast. ++Features++ The achievements are really hard to get because you will have to play through the game more than 5 times to get them all. At the end of a year, you upload a picture of your character on the page of the developer. ___________________________________________________ The story is well, the gameplay is great. This game is absolutely worth its money if you are into visual novels and kind of romantic.
