Mahjong World Contest-A simple, if very nicely made game of this popular Genre. If you don't know it: The Goal is to mine stone Towers with as few Trains as possible. Only couples, i.e. Stones with the same Motif, can be removed. It happens all the time that you need one Stone that is blocked by another, so you should be tactical and not immediately remove the first Pair that catches your Eye. In this Version of Mahjong, you can't take back Trains, but you can have the Tower reshuffled, which often saves you some Moves. After all golden Stones have been removed, you get Points for the Number of remaining white Stones. The Steam achievements are well thought out and by no means achieved in a matter of Hours. There is the only Criticism about the Game here: At Least two Achievements are flawed and do not immediately trigger, even though you meet the Requirements described. But if you continue to Play, the Successes will be credited sooner or later. You have a few Stone sets to Choose from to bring in an optical change. The musical Accompaniment is very coherent and fits perfectly with this Type of Game, although the Pieces of Music are very short and therefore often repeated during longer Play sessions. As mentioned above, the Level Of difficulty is not very high If you Have the Tower reshuffling if necessary. A good Game to relax and absorb some Far Eastern Flair in digital Form.

Much more, it should serve as a Comparison to Mahjong Huntress. I took my first Steps in this Genre at the Time and asked myself the Question: Am I so bad or the Game Mahjong Huntress? Mahjong World Contest surprised me positively and also showed me that I'm not as bad as I thought I was. The Goal of the Game is simple: Remove all golden Stones from the Board. Gems cannot be removed until you click on the appropriate Stone of the same Kind. Required Stones are usually obscured by others and cannot be clickable until they are released. The individual Levels cannot be freely selected. Each successfully completed Level unlocks the next one. The Game has a pleasant Degree of Difficulty, but can be challenging if you want the highest Rating in all Levels. The Level Rating is not always optimal. Just two Levels in the beginner//Amateur hall were heavy. With few possible Moves and high required Score. Many Levels in the Expert Hall, on the other Hand, I was able to solve with 3 Stars right away, although I made Some mistakes, was slow and needed quite a lot of Moves. The Pieces of Music are well chosen; They are calm, relaxing and unobtrusive. They are played in an Endless Loop, but in this Game it doesn't bother. The Presentation of the Tiles is sufficiently large and it can be selected in the Options between three different Types Of tiles. At least two of the Achievements appear to be budged, because these Trigger too late. It concerns VIP chip ErrungSciences ("Earn XXXX Points"). The Achievements are not unlocked with achieving the right Score. It wasn'T until some Time later, with more Points, that I got the Achievements. Verdict: A nice Game for in between. The Gameplay is simple, but fun. Due to the many different Levels, it is not immediately played through. Small Flaws, such as belt-triggering Achievements, are present but do not interfere. A clear Recommendation for Fans of this Genre.
