Maiden Monstruous

Maiden Monstruous is a game made for the magical girl game jam #4. Among the themes proposed, it is based on the "battle" theme. This is a two-person project, made by me & Aankh. She made the art, I made the programming. The game was made with the Godot engine

In this game you control Outstanding Outsider, a magical girl getting her power from a mysterious being from beyond the stars. She has to fly around her city, fighting monsters that keep popping up, and using her summoning powers to destroy them. But be careful, your own attacks can damage the city, and so do your enemies. And the more is destroyed, the stronger they get...

The game is won if you defeat all the monsters.

Music made with Aiva & Strofe. Sound effects are taken from Kenney asset pack or from http://freesoundeffect.net. Model made with Kenney's asset forge or taken from Kenney's asset pack.

Controls :

- Z for forward, S for backward, D for right, and Q for left.

- Turn the character around by moving the mouse.

- left click for a light attack (grab an enemy and pull yourself toward it)

- right click for an heavy attack (throw enemies away)

- Spacebar to use your special attack (paralize all enemies around you and deal damage over time)

- enter or escape for pause
