Manalink (prototype) GMTK 2021

Summary

Progress through rooms with the mage by solving puzzles.

Gate to next room opens if all switches turned on, and all torches are lit. Torches are magical, they can be lit in a certain order only! Move around boxes to make your way to the gate and maybe reveal clues. 

Monsters can eat you, protect yourself by calling your paladin buddy from the parallel universe. He is a bit dumb, cannot really do or care about anything else but sword swinging, but at least he does that one thing right. Dimension shifting back and forth uses mana though, watch out for the time periods it's replenishing, you can get really vulnerable then!!

Controls

• WASD: move
• SHIFT: switch dimensions
• Space: fight & combo, activate switches, light torches
• Space pressed: levitate boxes
• Escape: exit game
