Marathon Dash

The year is 490 BC. The army of Athens, led by general Miltiades, have won a great battle against the army of Persia, led by general Datis, thus freeing the city of Marathon from under siege. The Athenian soldier Pheidippides is commanded to run back to Athens to deliver the good news and warn them of the impending Persian attack on Phalerum. A total of 50 km separate Marathon from Athens.
