Maria the Witch

"Maria the Witch" is a Two-button mobile game. The whole Post was stolen. All Letters. We are Mary, the Witch and, riding on our Broom, must collect the whole Post again. The Story is ... Well, kind of child-friendly. And apparently the whole Game is made for a quite young Audience. This is made especially clear by the fact that the 2D worlds are partly built with LEGO-like Blocks on which Playmobil like figures stand. A rather strived and stylistically suited To the otherwise comic-like aesthetic only to a limited Fitting reference. Game Mechanically, the Game is a 2-Button 2D game. With the left Mouse button we give Broom Thrust To the left and with the right to the right. The Thrust, however, pushes us not only sideways, but also upwards, so that we play a Role with prolonged Pressing. Above all, it is important, in addition to collecting Floating letters and Coins, to avoid any Contact with the Environment or Opponents. This leads to immediate Death. So technically, the Game is nothing more than a more complex Variation of "Flappy Bird." And you have to keep the Game too good, that it is quite varied, the Levels offer Variety and the basic Heidi-Japanese Comic Aesthetics are in itself made clean. The Problem, though, is this: The Game is made for a Touchscreen and that's where it should have stayed. With the Mouse, the Input seems strangely inappropriate. And this becomes fun with the astonishingly high Degree of Difficulty, which demands high Precision and hardly forgives mistakes all too quickly.
