Meadow

Meadow is a Kind of Wildlife MMO. One is thrown into a colorful open World and starts as a lonely little badger. However, one does not stay lonely For long, as after a short Time the first Foxes, Rabbits, Goats and some other Animal Species run along the Path, all of which are controlled by other Players. There is no voice or Text Chat, which is the Main Attraction of the Game. The Communicated with various Gestures and Emotes. So sometimes it's hard to understand what the Frog just bouncing around one wants from one. After some Time, however, one gets used to the coarsely kept Imagery and may also befriend other Animals. That makes it all the more difficult to make it clear to the other Animal that you are now leaving the Game and probably never see each other again. The Community is great. Everyone helps everyone. Most Often, Pack form that travel the World looking for Points to Unlock animals or Skins. In Meadow there is neither PvP nor PvE. Unlike most Games, Meadow refrains from Conflict, creating a Game world where Collaboration and Helpfulness outweigh and Greed and Hatred go down.

Just played a few More hours than I intended. And in doing so, I haven't even collected many "Shards" (= Game "progressed"). But when you find that much more Interaction and group sense of togetherness arises when you learn not only to run wildly from one Shard to the next, but to distinguish your Group members, at walking pace, from each other. One recognizes and is recognized himself. When the sworn Groups of a Goatee, a Rabbit, a Lynx and a Turkey Get smaller and smaller over the hours, but experienced many beautiful moments by then, a bit of your Heart really hurts when you then have to separate from the others. Especially because you're not sure if you're going to see the others again, too. But maybe that, too, is just the Beauty of it. It is an eternal Acquaintance and new contacts. And who knows, the next Time I see a Goatee quietly and majestically striving near the Starting point, swarmed by a few baby badgers, there's a joyful Reunion! That's what I'm looking forward to right now. Those who can get involved with Meadow will find a little Gem. A quiet Counterpoint in the hectic, modern Era.

Meadow is simply magical! Don't Let the edgy graphic Mess negatively at first Glance. One starts as a sweet, small Animal, similar to an Opossum, in an apparently quite lonely World. A Glance on the Map at the bottom right, however, reveals very quickly that other Players still need to be out and about in these Countries. Supi! So You find that you're not alone. If you spend a few Minutes, you will find your Fellow Players-also cute Animals-but often quite quickly and can join them to explore the World. It communicates only about Sounds that the Animal gives of itself, and some Symbols, Signs and few Emotes. This makes the "pulling around together" very relaxed, so sugar-sweet that it almost drives a Tear into your Eyes, and free from all Language barriers. The unique Way of Communicating with his Fellow Players is the most Peaceful, Loving and Beautiful thing I have experienced in a long time. It is a good idea to go in search of very specific Stones and crystal-like Structures in the World, because the uncurled further Skins for his Animal and other playable Animals themselves. =) So If you just want to discover something completely new and is open to an absolutely peaceful, beautiful Pastime: Here is your Answer to all Questions!
