In this 2D top-down shooter game, you take on the role of a robot who has just awoken in a mysterious laboratory. Upon awakening, you are greeted by an advanced artificial intelligence who reveals that you are the last of your kind and your survival depends on your ability to fight off hordes of mutant bugs.

To stay alive, you must collect Dream Cells - powerful energy sources that allow you to dream, even though you are a machine. In these dreams, your eyes begin to glow purple and you gain special abilities. Can you collect enough cells to dream of being human?

Development

This game was developed over the course of 9 days for Godot Wild Jam #55 for which the theme was Dreams. This project takes inspiration from games like Nuclear Throne and Enter the Gungeon.
