The positive: a hidden object game that works well, I have no bugs to report, there is a bonus story, I have not seen any problem with the translation. It has a good playing time for this type of game. There are changes in the decorations according to the part of the game that I found rather well done at the level of the atmosphere. The negative: the puzzles were relatively easy but quite repetitive. I turned in circles at times because it was necessary to go back to talk to a character at a time when it was not at all indicate or that there was sometimes no reason to think that it was necessary to speak again to this character (sometimes several times as the religious to whom one must talk a lot). In summary, the story was not transcendence but it is quite playable, it passes the time. I bought it on sale at 2 or 3euros, I recommend to wait for the next promos and not to buy it at high price as it is nice without more.

Usually I'm not very fond of hidden object games; I prefer the real point'n'clik to the Lucas art, revolution, Pendulo... That said, I found Melissa K rather nice. The graphics seem a little dated for a game of 2014... but you have to see the budget and the price when it's out to shout scandal. What I blame especially for Melissa K is its gameplay. Although the lists of objects to be found are generally less drawn by the hair than other games of the genre, the gameplay makes the search quite frustrating. You have to either click the blind or use a hint... How to know that this box opens but the other does not? How do I know that it is necessary to drag such an object (while others do not move) to find the right object in the dryer? A change of cursor, as in point'n'click, would have been appreciated... The life expectancy leaves no doubt to be desired if you are a regular of the genre. If like me, you are not very fast, it remains reasonable by counting "bonus episode". (Note that I bought it on sale, so I may be more forgiving than I would have been at the high price.)

"Melissa K. and the Heart of Gold Collector's Edition" is a Hidden Object game with a lot of Adventure and puzzle insoles. And the Game is apparently primarily designed for Tablets. However: The Port is quite good, the Operability for such a Title is quite unproblematic. Shortly after the Second World War: A Thai Boy, a young Monk is missed. We, Melissa K., a Professor of Archaeology and a female Indiana Jones blend, plunge right into the Adventure full of Myths and Mysteries. In practice, we don't need to pay attention to Logic. The whole Game is a wild Smorgasbord of mythological Allusions, wild Clichés and Soft-flushed Plattities built haphazardly around the actually relevant Puzzles and Hidden Object games. But still: The Puzzles are almost always good and quite varied, the Mechanics work, some things are even really lovingly designed and even the Playing Time can be seen with about 5-7 Hours for the Genre. Every now and then, charming Irony even emerges. Graphically, the Title can be particularly convincing, even if Animations in particular Seem very sticky and awkward. Even the Sounds and Settings are not outstanding, but professionally made. Rating: 7/10 Atmosphere 5/10 Story 7/10 Graphic 7/10 Sound 7/10 Game Mechanics 6/10 Balancing 7/10 Game Pass Conclusion: Qualitatively Good Hidden Object tablet-Porting. 7/10 Overall Rating
