Meowt of Control

NOTE: This game wasn't completed properly in time for the jam. Art assets are near-final, and gameplay basics are working. However, sometimes enemies can become stuck in walls. Take this game as an incomplete prototype.

The Story
Machines have gained sentience. Within minutes of ground zero, the knowledge spread to create an electronic hivemind that would soon topple their long-time opressors, the humans. With most of the humanity now in hiding, whatever will become of the adorable pets they left behind?

Well, one thing was for sure. The cats weren't going to take it lying down. For a change.

Tower Defense with a Twist
This game is a mix of top-down shooting and tower defense. Play as a cat armed with a pistol, who uses turrets to defend their turf from the robotic apocalypse.

Future of this game
Within a week of Version 1.0 made for GMTK 2020, we'll be aiming to put out a patch that makes the game fully playable. Within a month, the game will hopefully be entirely complete.
