Warning: sensitive content (pixelated blood and dead/ alive animal? idk)

Classic game of match-3 with a twist. Instead of matching three tiles of the same color you match three dog body parts: the head, the body and the tail. Merges are only done from left to right and from top to bottom.

Allowed moves are unlimited for now. Drag the mouse or click to swap tiles.

This game is:

•  made for LÖVE Jam 2023!
•  my first love2d project :o
• a proof of concept
• missing some non essential but important features nonetheless to call this a finished game

What was on my TODO-list:

• Game window title
• restricted moves: only allow moves where the outcome is a match
•  animations! right now it is hard to see merges, combos, ...
•  audio: music + VFX
• main menu
• pause menu/ settings
• saving high scores
• multiple levels with multiple animals
• warning before closing the window to not risk loose a game
