PHILOSOPHY

towns should be built to serve people, in an environmentally-friendly way. roads should conform to life, not the other way around. they waste land, isolate neighbors, make the place less walkable, and get in the way of a good life.

more connection = more happiness, even if it’s just stopping outside for a walk and seeing others around you. believe it or not, people are much happier the less time they spend cooped up in their homes. when the environment is more walkable, shareable, it’s more livable.
