Ok, it's an RPG Maker game, of course. But unlike a lot of those Games, it was done with a lot of Dedication. You can see This from both the interesting Story and how it is presented. Basically, I could put an End now and highly recommend it to all those interested in a good JRPG In a 16-Bit robe. But better some Facts, right? I say nothing about the Story, otherwise the Fun at the Game would be destroyed. Only so much that you should be prepared for some interesting Gags (which I think succeeded). There's plenty to explore and something to be found everywhere, including the beloved Secret Rooms. Unlike most other Games, grinding is not a Major Ingredient here. That's because actually only the HP improves at leveln and you can of course find some Gold and from time to time an Item. The Opponents in the Game are always visible, so you can and should decide for yourself whether you take the Risk of a Fight. It is Important to observe the golden Rule for RPG ... Save. Because you can do that at any time. Once defeated Enemies reappear when you leave the Section, enter a House or Cave. The Graphics are just 16-Bit, but everything is very easy to recognize and quite clear. The Sound and Effects are OK. Now come the Points, which are unfortunately not so optimal: The Control (X-Box) is unfortunately RPG maker moderate. That means everything goes kind of blocky to go. Which is relatively mies when trying to dodge some Monsters. And since there is no Increase in stats in leveln, these can only be increased by quite rare Weapons purchases or Finds. This makes almost every Fight quite long, because you actually only do a lot of damage with the (also very few) talents, i.e. Spells. Boss Fights become partly agony when your well-equipped party is hardly Damaged, but the Opponent kills jemaden in one Fell swoop or with a Saying Forces the entire Manor to Heal (the one of The Healers can ... Forget him, he does far too little HP well to make good use of THE Saying). There is also no Way to run. But.... The Monsters can increase their Speed and have you on the screen even from the other Edge of the Screen and come at you like Homing Missiles. A long Way to the next Destination will be so ... Well, just long. After All, there is later the Possibility to easily select some previously visited destination ... What, of course, doesn't give Exp and Gold then. Unfortunately, a Card is missing. Finally, it has to be mentioned that some Exits Are quite difficult to detect. Especially in the Caves, these usually consist only of a rounded Bulge ... But there are some of them ... Until you find the real Exit ... But as I said for 16-Bit fans who should be quite sensitive to pain I can recommend it. My Value Lung would be a 7/10
