Millennium - A New Hope reviews and comments

Product received for free is the First JRPG I've played. New Hope-It's places a little naïve, but quite interesting story. Well-researched characters. Magnificent, emotional dialogues filled with humor. Interesting game world that can be explored. Turn-on battles, reminiscent of a heavily simplified combat system from board games. And This is complemented by a great soundtrack. Overall, everything turned out To be much better than I expected. The Surprise was that it was only the first episode. In order to find out what is going on and what will end, you have to buy the rest. Somewhat spoils the impression realization-RPG Maker was not bad in the 90s, then many games looked like this. But today it is not very suitable for the development of serious projects. There is no support for HD, there is no possibility to configure the control and configure anything at all, very conditional and primitive study of objects on the game locations. With This all can accept free or amateur projects, but in commercial would like to see a more modern implementation. Also in the game there is no Russian localization, although, even with my mediocre knowledge of English, I did not have any problems with understanding what is happening. Despite The disadvantages, the game can be recommended to fans of this genre, but still wait for the sale-in my opinion the usual price is highly inflated.

Where To start? I'll Start with the obvious pros of the game genre 16-bit RPG. Such RPG has its pros: they require little hard disk space, easy to manage. And, playing games of this 16-bit type, I fall into a deep childhood... I remember my first game, with the same graphics... It's cool... But that's not the point now! This game, like the rest of the games from Aldorlea Games, there is a story, what-no fights, experience, skills, items, pumping your characteristics... And so on When I started the game I immediately rushed into the eyes of our charming character, this I want to say that the characters are excellent, also the drawing Modelek is good, it is not what the men, and cool Drawn "Chibiki", they even seem to resemble Their arches... For games from Aldorlea Games is characteristic not obsessive music in the game, it is not a little important factor, because some games have terribly annoying noises, which have to knock down the sound And again the factor characteristic of Aldorlea Games, the game does not support the Russian language, Which greatly complicates the process of passing. It is Necessary to sit with the interpreter in another window and translate the English text... I will say my phrase: of Course, as in any game, in this game too should be cons, but each of these minuses perceives differently... But the special disadvantages in this game can not see... I do not know whether to evaluate the game on points.. After all, everyone will appreciate it himself... But Given this type of game and that for him the game has done perfectly, I will probably put a score of 9/10, because not every game is perfect... P.S. the Author of a special thank you! In This game there are collectible cards! It pleased me!
