Mine Wars

This is a beta yet fully playable 2-player-only split-screen action game combining gameplay elements from MinerVGA, Boulderdash and Minebombers.

Both players are miners who have to dig and find as much precious metal as possible under the same stretch of land, fighting each other over the control of the mining site. 

Metals can be exchanged for money at the bank. There's a wide array of items which can be purchased, many of which serve as digging devices, weapons against your adversary or both. You can also purchase extra elevator depth, metal detectors, extra miners and more.
