About

Multiplayer adventure from Torn Banner Studios was released in May 2017.

The main gameplay mechanic of the game is a team multiplayer shooter from the first person perspective. The main bet was on melee fighting and the magical abilities of the characters. Players could choose from six classes that differed in skills and roles in the game. There are several modes available in the game: deathmatch and various mission options such as Capture the Flag and “Payload” modes.

The game was available for pre-order on Steam back in 2017 and for the year of its existence, it managed to attract about one million players but never found its core audience despite multiple positive reviews from the press. It was removed in May 2018 from public access due to the inability to comply with the GDPR policy. The Developers confirmed that they ran out of options to keep the game alive and they do not plan to return to it.

Mirage: Arcane Warfare reviews and comments

Product received for free Top Game! I honestly don't understand how this Title can get such mediocre Reviews. Those who liked Chivalry will also like Mirage. In My Opinion, however, Mirage runs a lot smoother and also looks better. The Gameplay is very similar to Chiv, so it's fun. Wonderful Title of which I irgdendwie hardly noticed anything but accesses calmly.

Well, the Game looked so good in itself, but then when you Play it ... The Game plays like a cheap Free2Play Game which was quickly clapped to cash in on coal. The Characters move like NPCs from a 90s RPG. The Loading Times are really damn long. The Combat Movements are just as cheap as the movement of the Chars. Lucky I dusted it off For Free, the Game isn't worth a Penny. The whole Thing Feels about the one Beta too early

In Gameplay entirely according to, Chivalry: Medieval Warfare "Manner, (Insider: Or as the Technical Man would say:" Mannerism "), which I Think makes it a very good Game just because of that. In Contrast to monotonous CoD series, the FPS "Mirage: Arcane Warfare" sometimes offers a completely different And thus innovative background-here one fights onset within the Framework of magic. On Top of that, you can get the Game for free. This Fact alone, and the Fact That it was developed by Torn Banner Studios, actually gives Reason enough to test that very game once. I strongly recommend the Game!

Mirage: Arcane Warfare is a pure multiplayer action game and Successor to Chivalry: Medieval Warfare. First of all, I have to say that I think Chivalry is really good and I like to play very much. Unfortunately, however, the Successor deceives me. The Setting is reminiscent of a fantasy Bollywood movie, I don't even think that's bad in principle, but unfortunately the Game seems kind of sterile and artificial visually, it doesn't come up with any Atmosphere for me. The Magic replaces the Long-distance fighters in Chivalry, unfortunately I find the Magic even very unsatisfactorily implemented. For the Engine used, the Spells seem very effective. The whole Game feels to me after Beta, still unfinished and after Test run. The Matchmaking is somewhat opaque, perhaps also necessary because of the Number of players. Since the Game is a pure MP and not AN F2P, the Number of active Players is of course always an Issue. Verdict: The Game seems unfinished and artificial to me, no Mood comes up. But This is all just subjective Feelings on my part. Maybe other Games like exactly this Setting in this Design. Since the Game has only been released, I look back in on Occasion. I recommend the Game only under Limitation: It is not a Chivalry 2, it is a separate Approach that will not please every player, so I advise with a Purchase maybe Better to wait until you could play test-wise (free Steamweeks). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CS88EfeachU
