Misao: Definitive Edition reviews

If you thought this was good you have poor taste
Not as good as Mad Father but still an enjoyable game in its own right (as long as you don't mind dying in the most unexpected ways a lot).

Misao it's been three months since your classmate, the very discreet Misao, has disappeared. As you prepare for high school, you hear some sort of call, "find me!". Once in class, the call resurges and the whole school gets stuck in the grounds of the establishment with a multitude of zombies, ghosts and various dangers... By the creator of "mad father", "Misao" takes over the mechanics but this is not a sequel. You will have the choice between embodying a male or female character (you will get a slightly different story from each other) and you will have to free the school from the curse of Misao. Same remarks as for "mad father", the game is pretty short, has good music and beautiful illustrations. It is also available in English and Japanese only. So I recommend for fans of this type of game. Note: three characters from "mad father" will make a discreet appearance here.

Very good game, which unfortunately is in English, but understandable. Having already played mad father before I was able to find the references of the latter, and it was pretty funny. This game can finish in 1h-1h30 to its discovery, and in about 20 minutes once we know him well. So yes, it is very short, but if like me you like to make the games at 100%, you are served. The 21 achievements are unlocked pretty quickly it's true, but you probably miss some of it sure; The 42 dead to discover to unlock the function "title screen" in the menus (which allows to change the title screen of the game)-/! \ but beware some are only feasible at certain times of the game, especially the laser that bars the passage to the laboratory, if you deactivate it, you will no longer be able to cause your death. I highly recommend this game, although it is a bit Gore and violent (it has some scenes containing rape). Just like mad father, Mogeko Castle, the Witch's House and IB is a great game:)

Misao: definitive Edition is not just a simple graphical redesign of the game; It's a full-fledged remake. Apart from the obvious graphic redesign of the game, we are welcomed with some new music, death traps brand new or reworked, and new sequences slightly altering the course of the game without changing the story, including new puzzles and cutscenes. The inventory of the original game was abandoned for that of mad father, and we now have the opportunity to run. Having played versions 2 and 3 of the original, I must say that this definitive Edition has been able to give freshness to the game, allowing those who played the original to keep a feeling of new experience. Moreover, as a personal, I have appreciated the fact that some death traps have been redone in the form of jumpscares. I'm a little more than welcome. However, you should know that the game is only in English at the moment. Having a good level of English, I do not mind, but I guess it could be problematic for some. In any case, I recommend! Whether you played the original game or not, count at least 3 hours of play to finish it entirely (I put a little less time because I already made the original). And if corpse party talks to you, Misao is roughly in the same vein:)
