About

The smash hit action game from Comic Market 84 is finally available on Steam!
Misa is a Blade Templar, a secret defender of humanity, who happens to be a high school student. When her classmate, Suzuka, succumbs to the dark seduction of the Demon Blade, Misa releases she must protect the world at all costs. Already the evil sword is draining Suzuka's life force and, if Misa cannot destroy the Blade alone, she very well may need to strike down her friend.
Mitsurugi Kamui Hikae focuses on high-speed arena-based action. Use lightning fast sword slashes, hand-to-hand attacks and mysterious ancient techniques to defeat wave after wave of demonic foes. Be prepared: the enemies are relentless and will attack from all sides. If you aren't prepared to strike and roll, you'll be overwhelmed in no time flat.
Weaken your enemies with vicious wounds, employ hand-to-hand techniques to build your katana gauge, then cut deep with your divine blade. A spectacular flurry of blades will take down even the largest crowd of NPCS! After beating them bloody, sheathe your sword to finish them off with style. Be warned: if the enemy isn't "bleeding," then they'll take the opportunity to strike you mid-pose!
Use skill points to learn new skills, upgrade your abilities, and take on brutal bosses. Every playthrough of Mitsurugi will grow you as a player until your success if guaranteed! And if the game suddenly becomes too easy, there are three difficulty levels to test your mettle. Good luck!

Mitsurugi Kamui Hikae reviews and comments

An independent hack-and-slash. It took me four hours to get through it. I liked it. On the other hand, the enemies to fight against are very repetitive, there are few decors, few different attacks and the scenario is plain. Still I had fun playing it.
Really nice combat system that hasa unique but rewarding control scheme. Obviously design is repetitive but it at least takes advantage of it's mechanics with the different enemy types well.

A hack and slash pretty with an incredible gameplay, but unfortunately, is very short. PROS-Lots of combos to learn, many to invent-decent Graphics (although only highlight the protagonist and bosses)-Large number of upgrades (which leave a lot of replayability)-Several unlockables (as before there were the DLC)- Several levels of difficulty, easy perfect for newbies, and very hard perfect for those looking for a real challenge CONS-generic enemies seem taken from a game ps2-The most cliche story you go to hear (Japanese schoolgirl must stop Amiga Possessed by cursed Sword...) -The music ends up boring, and is not good at all-Too short (at the most 3 hours the first time you play in normal)-Only count with the katana, and blows, no other weapon-The scenarios are just a big ring full of enemies, you should not advance , or solve any puzzle, just fight In conclusion, worth 10 DLs? Only if you are a fan to death of the Hack n slash, if not, do not bother (has almost no history, and very short duration), try to get it for less than 5 DLs (I buy it at 2 DLs), for less than 5 DLs, is totally recommended, but do not be a fan of this genre , it's perfect for killing time.

A schoolgirl with Katana, that's all. A pretty frantic hack & slash on some points. But repetitive and without offering a big challenge once you do with some skill enhancement. It has No history (rather if, but is minimal), is very short and very little variety of scenarios (only 4) enemies (other 4) and heads (5). It ends up summing up in Mata Mata Mata until you finish. Graphically It is not something impressive, it goes without saying that the character is well done, the enemies are not to take rockets and the scenarios... They give enough shame, it'S all more focused on heroin. Sound, nothing of the other world very anime everything. Jugabilisticamente, does not offer great difficulty when taking control (assuming you play with pad, if you play with keyboard, the option Predeteriminada is not effective and touch reconfigure). The camera is its weak point, very Metal Gear Rising, points to where it comes out of the scrotal pouch instead of where you need to look (exception battle against boss, there is great) combo system is easy, while not damaged, not break the combo , these very limited in attacks and there is hardly a variety, but it is worth mentioning that there are a couple of escepciones, which well used is a visual and destructive show. Price, too high for your content, buy on offer. (If you over the money, ignore this last) If you're looking for a hack & slash, just that, maybe you should reconsider the purchase. If you cool the Japanese and you're looking for a hack & slash... A schoolgirl with Katana, that's all.
