MITTIN
About
The Michigan Transition To Independence (MITTIN) is a virtual life skills library of dynamic modules which foster the development of independent living skills in the home and community. Designed to support special education transition-related instruction, these virtual resources are free and available to parents, schools, educators, and students in Michigan. MITTIN is a partnership of the Michigan Association of Administrators of Special Education (MAASE), Michigan Council for Exceptional Children (MCEC), Great Lakes Reality Labs (GLRL), and Public Policy Associates (PPA).
The first module in the library is "Cleaning Flat Surfaces", where the student can learn how to clean a variety of surfaces in the kitchen and living room of their home.
