Mold on pizza 🍕 is a small half-clicker half-strategy game that wants to be cute and can make you spend a few hours. The theme is original, we are at the head of an army of mold and we have to completely contaminate a delicious slice of pizza. But for that, we will have to fight the terrible food conservatives who do not intend to let us. The gameplay is simple to understand, we select the mold you wish spawner and left click where you want to make it appear. With a right click, mold uses its special ability. We will try to make it appear a package of the type adapted to overcome the Conservatives, destroy their spawneurs and their waves of reinforcement. Of course, every mold has its speciality and therefore its strengths and weaknesses. It's up to us to choose them based on the enemies we're facing. The game is not stingy in content: 21 molds to use and 32 different conservatives to fight, 192 levels, bosses, mini-games bringing a bit of variety, and cooperation modes and PvP (modes that I have not tested). Graphically, it's nice, cute. Side music and sound effects, it is in the atmosphere "cute" also, nothing to complain. However be careful not to be abused by this cute side precisely, because if everything starts nicely story to make us understand some subtleties, the difficulty climbs quickly skyrocketed. This game is difficult and even cruel sometimes... for example the Conservatives are better than our molds, some waves are made to overwhelm us, and sometimes an enemy spawneurs projects one of their own directly behind our defensive/offensive line... which often causes an immediate defeat... And this is the negative point I have raised: a difficulty in sawtooth. We often go from a childish level... to another particularly full-bodied, of the kind that we lose in less than 10 seconds and that we start again fifteen times because we do not see how to block the many first enemies. At other times, at the beginning of the same level, the enemy spawners will randomly either make the conservatives appear one by one, leaving us the time to make our mold appear, on the contrary, to quickly show 5-6 enemies that we will not able to block in the first seconds of the level... It's very frustrating sometimes... In short, mold on pizza 🍕 is a small game with a very simple concept but rather hard to master and that can be frustrating at times. He will give you the challenge if you are looking for it. Lovers of the genre will surely have no regrets to pay the high price, but for others I advise you to wait for it to fall on sale.
