Mortimer’s pacemaker malfunctions and wakes him up from death. He breaks free from his grave and feels something is very wrong… Death is coming for him, run!

As Mortimer runs, he sees death closing in, unaffected by the real world. He knows Death is bound to collect souls, so maybe souls will slow it down!

Hell keeps a ranking of its runways based on how many innocent souls are collected. Will Mortimer beat Rasputin’s last escape?

Controls

You control Mortimer, an undead running away from Death itself!

WASD or Arrow Keys to move horizontally.

Space to Jump.

Summary

Theme: Saber Game Jam 2022 - "Wait, are we the bad guys?"

Genre: Vertical Endless Runner

Platform: Windows

Pillars: Runner, avoid obstacles, delay Death.

.Runner: Player must survive as long as possible as death gets progressively closer.

.Avoid obstacles: Character moves horizontally avoiding incoming obstacles as the speed increases. Hitting obstacles makes death close in.

.Delay Death: The character can interact with human NPC to kill them, delaying death as it grabs the souls.
