MOTHER: Cognitive Dissonance is a fan-made game set in the MOTHER series universe, taking place between the events of Earthbound Beginnings (MOTHER) and EarthBound (MOTHER 2). It follows the story of the Applechasers, a ragtag pile of aliens brought together to keep the Apple of Enlightenment out of Giegue's reach. Along the way you meet lots of new & old friends, explore the Solar System, and witness the universe's lore unfold all while participating in some serious alien-on-alien brawls.
