MPDC

MPDC is a multiplayer prototype in active development.

It currently features three classes, each with their own weapon:

• Knight - Sword (Melee combat)
• Ranger - Bow (Mid-range, arrows drop)
• Wizard - Staff (Long range)

Pickups:

• Red - Full Heal
• Green - Speed Boost

Game Modes:

• Free For All (Deathmatch) - currently in development
• Last One Standing (Battle Royale) - planned
• Survival (Wave based PvE) - pending server AI

Planned Features:

• Server Controlled Enemy AI

Long Term Ideas:

• Procedurally generated dungeons
• Player/Character progression
• Survival Leader boards
• Account System
• Over world

Controls

• WASD to move
• Left click to attack
• 1 / 2 / 3 to switch class
• F1 to set networked player name
• Tab to show scoreboard

I plan on hosting public play tests Friday nights (EST), if you are interested in participating, providing feedback, or seeing updates about the game please join our Discord server.

Known Issue: The application MPDC.exe throws a warning from Microsoft Dfender SmartScreen about being an unrecognized app. I promise there's no funny business here.
