Murder at Hen's Roost

"So many people from different industries and professions--you’ll never get a better chance than this!"

At the suggestion of his grandfather, a world-famous retired stage magician, an aimless young man named Gatz finds himself boarding a train to attend a gala in the fictional English town of Chiffling. Onboard, he meets an overly flirtatious amateur journalist, Ilia Baker, who is on her way to write an article about the very same event.

Gatz expects the gala to be a straightforward networking opportunity, that is, unless his grandfather has something up his sleeve...

Murder at Hen's Roost is a kinetic visual novel which pays homage artistically to the Professor Layton games with additional inspiration from the BBC Poirot series.

Written initially in exactly one month, it marks my first completed story and attempt at the murder mystery/detective genre.
