mur·mur·a·tion (AKA murmur) /ˌmərməˈrāSHən/ noun 1. a flock of starlings.)

...or risk being eaten by the extremely-rare-but-highly-deadly shark-with-wings. Try to survive for as long as you can. If you are eaten by the flying shark, it's game over! Use the arrow keys to move, and click the "start" button with your mouse to begin playing.

Submitted as an entry for the 2020 GMTK Game Jam. The theme of the jam is "Out-Of-Control". We took this idea and implemented it through our bird mechanics: you have to stay within your murmur of birds to ensure the highest chance of survival, but you have no control over which direction they will choose to move in. On top of that, have fun trying to pilot a bird ;)

All the code, art, and audio was created during the 48-hour window for the 2020 GMTK game jam.

This is our very first game created together. This is also the first game jam both of us have ever done (GMTK 2020) and the first time Ayush has ever coded a game in Godot (and the second video game he's ever made, period...). It is an extremely simple game but we hope you enjoy it, as we poured our hearts into this project.
