Musical Text Editor

This is a musical text editor! Put text in the box, hit play, and hear the music that comes out.

Each letter maps to a note. The longer the word, the shorter the notes in that word, and vice versa. The scale is not alphabetical, but instead is based on the frequency of each letter in the english language. Punctuation and unrecognized characters are treated as rests. Standard end of sentence punctuation also has special effects. In addition to english letters, numbers and a handful of accented letters from other languages are included as well.
