My Shadow is Vietnamese

A young man leaves Canada to visit his mother and sister in Vietnam. Over the next few days, he contends with himself to re-discover the strength he believes he lost.

Hi! Welcome to my first interactive fiction,  “My Shadow is Vietnamese”. 

MSiV served as my thesis project during my final year in the Screenwriting & Narrative Design program in George Brown College, Canada. Much like the situations the young man encounters during his stay, so have I in my own trials of depression and the lack of belief in what good the universe can have in store for me.

My game explores these themes in a familial setting rooted in Vietnamese culture.
