NaissanceE probably hurg. No One knows or has ever heard of it, but I would like to introduce you to this, let's Call it game. Naissance [without the big E at the End] is French and means Birth, Origin, origin, Beginning. NaissanceE is a Journey in a primitive World that seems completely alien and Empty. This gigantic, vibrant world is nevertheless beautiful and yet so lonely, it manipulates the Player without him really noticing. Story There is no Story. Not even to begin with, no Innuendo, just Nothing. However, this Game doesn't need one either because a Story would just destroy the Game. Nevertheless, you want to keep playing and it is more exciting or interesting for one or the other than a Game with a good Story. Unfortunately, this Trip is only so short, because after 5 Hours is Over. It should be Noted here that there is no Goal to fulfil either. It is more likely to be described as "The Way is the Goal." Graphic The Graphic Is probably one of the most important Stylistic Devices of NaissanceE. If you take a closer look, there are no Textures in this Game, everything is White. Only light and Shadow Effects can different Shades of grey as well as White and Black be represented, which is so extreme in some Levels that it puts a lot of stress on the Eyes. The whole Game nevertheless makes the Appearance of it being colored is especially in the last. Looks really good! Here, too, the Unreal engine once again presents how beautiful it can be. Gameplay The Gameplay is just finding the Way to the End. This can be achieved through Jump & Run Insoles and few Running Paths. There are Also a few Puzzles, but these are not a Challenge, too bad. You have to live with poor Visibility, you have to think about whether you are going the right Way, there is no Help. It sometimes Seems as if the World is playing with you. During the Sprint, when a Circle appears in the Middle of the Screen, you have to press the Left Mouse button for Breathing And that every 1-2 Seconds, which annoys something but unfortunately necessary otherwise you have to Interrupt your Marathon Run. Sound The sound Effects of the Game are appropriate, simply put nothing Special. However, the Music background Is really very nice. All The Pieces of music are by French underground performers and sound very bizarre, some describing it as "Psycho." Atmosphere The Atmosphere is the Core of NaissanceE. The harmonious Lighting conditions, the Music and the abstract Structures of the Game combined with the Feeling of absolute Loneliness and Emptiness as well as the constant questions create an incredibly beautiful and strange Atmosphere. If you are not used to jump & Run Games then you will be very quickly frustrated because this Game has only a few Memory Points, which is a Disturbing factor. In short, NaissanceE is just Surreal. In order to really enjoy NaissanceE, you should fully engage in it and let your Imagination run wild. I now know, for Example, how to Imagine hell. Anyone who wants to play something completely different, completely new, should get started In NaissanceE and immerse himself in this fascinating World. I would buy the Game in the Sale, though. It is very short and a high replayed value does not have the Game as it really benefits from its unique Atmosphere.
