The level Of Play is just ridiculously poorly chosen. At the still low To medium difficulty Level "All Star," almost every Three-way attempt by my Team is an Airball, almost every Pass in the Offense is taken. I lose with actually Budget high Superior teams in my own Hall with 30 +, that can't be. The Postmoves as they used to be quite possible no longer exist. The Main Thing is to change everything that has proved its worth. A thousand different individual Controls for Individual Moves is just way too complicated and cumbersome and robs you of the Fun of the Game. And I've been playing the NBA 2k and NBA Live Series for Decades. Also in the Game Settings you have a Thousand different Controls and Options. All unnecessary, who has the Time and The need To worry about every tiny Regulator. Do you prefer to get out a reasonably adjusted Game from the outset than to cork the Game and overwhelm the Users with manual Redress. Oh such good Players with 90s Rating can't really prevail better in the 1 versus 1 either. The whole Game is a bit badly done. Unfortunately, fun of Play no longer exists compared to older Series. It should also be possible to find a real Photo for each Player and not just to some. This just seems undeveloped and immature when You publish the Game like this. Rather Unify. Integrating Euro teams only if the Players don't even look the same in the Approach as they do in reality is not pretty either. One should have learned to either make Things completely to the End or let it be. In any case, it is not Fun to play with the Euro Teams. One More point: If I already pay so much Money for the Game I would at least be happy if the Players squad are kept reasonably up-to-date. A Paul Zipser is not to be found with the Bulls, for Example. All in all very weak Game, I don't know how much Time the Developers put each Year to make the Game piecemeal bad.

Cheaters make this game unplayable
Hello,
there is not much I can say about the gameplay of this game. It is very good and a lot of fun. But all that fun comes to an end when you try to play online which is, in my opinion, heart of the game.
There are cheaters everywhere in NBA 2k17. Beside the exploit of glitches, which gives them huge amounts of VC and advantages towards the honest players, they also use cheated My Career Characters which have all badges extremly high ratings or even a body size taller than Manute Bol while still being quick as Mugsy Bogues.
Those problems already were part of NBA 2k16 and while I do not like them I could somehow live with them, as I still had the possibility to beat these cheaters with skill.
But in NBA 2k17 there are now also multiple Disconnect cheats. The Cheaters use them, especially in My Team Mode.
Whenever they are about to loose a game, they just leave it without any penalties. So you literally can only loose against them. If they beat you, they will finish the game. If they are about to loose they just quit it without a loss.
The latest cheat that came up after the last wonderfull patch of NBA 2k17 is a quit that takes place even before the game starts. Straight after the loading Screen a message appears that says the game will not be counted. But then you still get a loss and loose contracts an stuff. I dont know what the cheater gets but I think it is a win and maybe VC.
They now even start to come with low rosters full of silver and bronze players as they quit the game anyhow and their contracts are cheaper.
It is very disappointing and frustrating that 2k does not care about the PC community. They sold us a game, but the experience is unplayable. So I would expect them to do something about it. Many customers are very unsatisfied and if they do not care, they can just keep the PC Version next year and should not wonder about a drop in sales.
In summary I mus say, if you plan to play only offline go ahead and buy the game. It is very good in its gameplay and features. But if you want to enjoy the online experience do not buy it. You will pay money for being frustrated, left alone by 2k and getting betrayed by cheaters.
