Night shift has been made for the GameDev Insiders Jam #1 with a team size of 2 and the theme 'If you stop, you die'.

This is 3D horror game where the player finds himself in the position of an IT-Specialist where he has to finish different kinds of tasks. He has to finish all of them in time otherwise bad things will happen to him!

What we need
We need and IT-Specialist who updates, maintains and creates backups of all of our IT systems.

What you should know
Recently we have bought a completely new IT system including some cleaning and maintenance robots.

Do not interrupt the robots as they haven't received the newest firmware update yet. It may happen that they feel... let's say... uncomfortable if they are close to you so please let them be.

Further expectations
Working at night should be no problem for you so we can ensure that our school routine isn't interrupted during daytime.

Be sure to finish the job as soon as possible because if you are too slow or if you stop, you die *ahem* I mean you will get fired of course!

Gameplay and Controls

Move with WASD or Arrow Keys.
Look around with your mouse.
Interact / take items with E.
De-/activate your flashlight with F.
Press Tab to hide the task panel (in right upper corner).
Press ESC to pause the game.

You will win if you successfully finish all objectives / tasks.
You will lose (die) if you stop and do nothing because the evil robot will catch and kill you.

Notes

Please note that we have no audio, sadly our audio engineer had some technical difficulties and we had not enough time to find some tracks ourselves but we hope that you enjoy gameplay nevertheless!
